Rick Murphy

Rick Murphy is the wireless curriculum director of Wireless Training Solutions, president of vLogic, Inc., member of IEEE Standards Association, board member of the Network Professional Association, and founding member of the CWNE Roundtable.

Rick began designing, implementing, and maintaining, wired and wireless networks within the western United States in 1984.
Since 1995 he has specialized in the design and deployment of indoor wireless LANs and outdoor point-to-multipoint wireless networks for municipalities and small-to-medium sized businesses.

In 1997, he began teaching and developing wireless networking training programs used today by major, international IT education providers, such as Learning Tree International, Global Knowledge and The CWNP Program.

Rick currently teaches, writes, and consults about technologies from popular wireless vendors, such as CWNP, Anritsu, Aperto, Alvarion, Airmagnet, Ekahau, AeroHive, Motorola, Aruba, AirDefense, 7Signal, Cisco, Proxim, and WirelessLogix.

Scott Williams

Scott Williams, Vice President of Sales and Customer Care for WiTS, manages WiTs’ on-site training, custom wireless classes and courseware development, and solutions services.

Scott plays an integral role in establishing and leading WiTS’ strategy for the rapidly evolving wireless industry and providing unique business and technology solutions through the alignment of collective resources and people.

Prior to joining WiTS in 2010, Scott was Vice President of Sales and Customer Service and Vice Chairman of the Board for CWNP. He was one of the co-founders of Peachtree Wireless, the training and consulting arm of CWNP.

Scott developed successful vendor models for vendor specific training for Air Magnet, Aruba, and Trapeze, as well as the entire CWNP training operations. He managed the Motorola specific training, which trained over 500 Motorola employees and VARS operations. He managed “The Best of the Best”, including all of the trainers and over 50 CWNP education partners. Thousands of Department of Defense and Airforce personnel have been trained through Williams’ network of trainers.

Scott spearheaded the CWNP advertising program, which grew to be one of the most profitable divisions of CWNP during his leadership.

Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in technology education from the University of Georgia.
