Rick Murphy is a pioneer in the WiFi industry and the engine of WiTS. Rick is the Wireless Curriculum Director and author of AirMagnet Academy’s course ware for WiTS. He is the current President of the Wireless LAN Association, longstanding member of the IEEE Standards Association, established member of the BICSI Wireless SC, as well as a major contributor for ANSI/BICSI 008. Rick is also a Board Member of the Network Professional Association, and founding member of the CWNE Roundtable. Rick is an authority on WiFi, and is well known for his brilliant graphics that are often used to help understand WLAN concepts. Rick’s attention to detail, ability to clearly communicate, presentation techniques, and explanation of the foundations of WiFi, make him an invaluable resource to WiTS students, clients, and his peers. He is currently working on some exciting projects for our training students and WiFi solutions education.
TITLE: Managing Partner
Scott Williams is the heart of the WiTS team. Scott has deep relationships in the WLAN industry through CWNP and Peachtree Wireless and has earned a strong reputation in the WiFi industry as a trusted advisor. He integrated the WiTS training and professional services into a driving force that delivers seamless WLAN solutions that are constantly evolving. Scott’s unique approach bridges the gap between WLAN Engineers and sales. Careful alignment between these two is the key to orchestrating success on any WLAN project. Through his 23 years of sales experience, he strives to deliver personal and professional value to all of his customers. He truly believes that the customer’s success is also WiTS’ success. Scott is currently working on the next generation of WLAN professional service offerings.

Director Field Services
Ron Francies is a leader. Period. Ron is the Director of Field Services, he has strong roots with AT&T and twenty years of experience in leading Field Service teams. Ron was born “WiTS Material”. His strong work ethic, organizational skills, rock solid performance, and fantastic attitude keep our engineering team on top of their game. Ron has a diverse background with extensive experience leading large teams of seventy-plus Engineers, BVoip Senior Engineers, Project Managers, and Managers. He led the charge in the seamless transition of the WiFi group into the AT&T family. Additionally, he served as the single point of contact between the Business Field Services and WiFi Business Units; Ron was the bridge that connected these two units. Since joining the WiTS Team, he has developed multiple successful strategic business plans for large customers, supported our engineering team on all WLAN projects, and invested in strong customer relationships. Ron is currently managing a large multi-location WLAN deployment across the US.

Jerrett Fancher is a WiTS original! Jerrett is a stand out Senior WLAN Engineer and Instructor, WiFi SME, and world expert in AirMagnet. He has trained more students on AirMagnet in the past seven years than anyone else. Jerrett’s fifteen years of real world experience in the wireless medical device industry make him a master in the classroom. His roots are deeply embedded in a vendor-neutral background. Jerrett has massive experience managing enterprise wireless projects from beginning to end, by advising the technical sales teams in the transfer of knowledge to the rest of the staff during the WLAN device deployments. Essentially, Jerrett has 22 years of on-the-job experience, which is a major asset to his students, because he not only knows, but also understands what is needed for successful WLAN design, deployment, and troubleshooting in the real world. When Jerrett isn’t teaching, he is out in the field or working on developing educational content. He is currently working on several exciting projects to help WiTS enhance the future of WLAN training and an expansion of our professional service offerings. Stay tuned to see what he has in store.

Dave Cardona is one of WiTS’ top experts in the field of WiFi. Dave leads the pack as a Senior WLAN Engineer and Instructor, WiFi SME, and world expert in AME. Dave is a troubleshooting powerhouse with twenty years of hands-on experience using the top WLAN tools to survey, train, design, and install WiFi networks across the US & Canada. Dave’s engineering style is unique, as he is an encyclopedia of knowledge on not only the wireless side, but the wired side as well. One of Dave’s numerous strengths shines when he is out in the field in front of our customers. Dave helps our customers with their WLAN projects in a manner that engraves WiTS with them. Dave transfers knowledge, creates relationships, and is always there, readily available to our customers. Dave is one of the pioneers behind our highly successful On-the-Job training program and is currently helping to define how WiFi is managed in the oil and gas industry.

Mark Murphy is a solid gold member of the WiTS team. Mark is a best in class WLAN Field Engineer and Instructor, whose engineering style is very thorough with broad hands-on experience using the top of the line WLAN tools to survey, train, design, and install WiFi networks. Mark is a force out in the field as he gets in the zone when he is performing a WiFi site survey, collecting every bit of data needed for the project and leaving no stone un-turned. His attention to detail is impeccable and shines through his reports. Mark is a world class trainer and his students highly respect him. One of Mark’s many unique qualities as an instructor is his kindness and approachability. He has accrued expert WiFi knowledge throughout his years and is a well-respected mentor and leader for WiTS. Mark is currently leading WLAN projects inclusive of survey, design, and installations within the rental car industry.

WLAN Field Engineer
Trung Do is WiTS’ shining star. Trung is at the top of his class in WLAN field engineering. He has a very strong background in IT and deep roots within the Hertz Corporation. Trung has fourteen years in the development and execution of customized network and data related solutions for Oklahoma, as well as remote support for all Hertz’s locations across the nation. Additionally, he created and designed LAN/WLAN infrastructures for new networks, while restructuring the existing networks. Trung continuously utilizes his extensive experience in the field and proves to be invaluable. His impeccable work ethic and “can-do” attitude are well received by WiTS customers. Trung posses a unique quality that we internally refer to as “WiTS Material”. It’s that unique combination of drive, grit, attitude, and execution that sets us apart from the rest. Trung is currently managing a large multi-location WiFi project across the US.
TITLE: Project Manager
Lisa Rosenthal is a WLAN Project Manager and the Graphics Design Coordinator for WiTS. Lisa’s roots lay in the retail industry where she was a Graphics Project Coordinator for fourteen years. Now, Lisa supports the WiTS engineering team with their WiFi projects from beginning to end. Lisa also supports the curriculum development team and is an invaluable asset with her creative designs. She designed the graphics for the AirMagnet Academy Certification Program, and contributes as an editor for WiTS Academy and AirMagnet Academy course ware. She has witnessed and been a part of the tremendous growth in the WLAN industry in the past three years. Lisa is currently assisting in the management of several large projects for WiTS on the curriculum side, as well as the professional services side.
TITLE: Business Manager
Sandy Murphy is the Senior Business Manger for WiTS. Sandy’s roots stem from the accounting world. She brings fifteen years of robust experience in accounting, specializing in taxation, as well as administrative policies and procedures. Her expertise is complimented by her strong customer service skills and impeccable work ethic. Sandy is a valued business partner to the operational leadership team of WiTS. Her strong organizational skills are invaluable in keeping our internal and external employees on track. Sandy is currently working on enhancing human development within WiTS.
TITLE: Training Coordinator
Stephanie Williams is one of the owners of WiTS and she runs its Training Program. Stephanie’s passion for people and her attention to detail stem from her retail background, and they serve WiTS strongly in the WiFi training department. She believes that training should be a total experience and therefore provides WiTS’ students with the best WLAN instructors, the highest level of service, and all the details that southern hospitality contains: including the delicious food and snacks! Stephanie supports Rick Murphy and the engineering team on curriculum projects for WiTS Academy and its customers. She truly believes that when a student enters a WiTS training class, it is just the beginning of our relationship. Stephanie is currently working on a project to help WiTS students track their training and certifications, as well as a portal to manage their educational path.

Dana Murphy is the Learning Management Systems Administrator and Content Repository Manager for WiTS. With many years pursuing her studies in science before settling on her passion: English, Dana has a deep love of language and all its aspects. She brings many years of experience in office administration and assistance, as well as writing and website content creation. Dana assists Rick and the rest of the educational team by providing them with back up in administrative and training duties, in addition to her in depth creation and updating of WiTS’ educational platform. Dana is currently working on enhancing the WiTS Academy educational course ware, content, and website to further provide outstanding training and service to WiTS’ customers and students.
