IEEE 802.11ac First Look


802.11ac is one of the new physical layer amendments being worked on by the IEEE. Although completion of the amendment is not expected until next year, some vendors are already offering hardware based on the initial drafts of this work. What are the new features and capabilities that make “ac” so interesting?
